On August 23rd Clean Culture and CamberGang gathered Florida’s finest and created an event were everyone can come and view a magnanimous mixture of vehicles. It was a great time for us to head south and enjoy the beautiful city of West Palm, and also see the European Automotive Community in SoFlo. We were very impressed with the quality from all makes and models that attended the event, but especially from the European portion.
Ah where to start about VAG Fair 2015. Well, it was definitely one of the best years yet. With more bodies and cars than I can ever remember seeing in the past. Luckily for me, it’s only a 40 minute drive. While plenty of people making a 5 hour plus trip to be here. It’s become a show that people have looked forward to and mark on their calendars early in the year.
As show season draws to a close in the UK, we think we’ve seen all our little Island has to offer for show cars. But of course not everyone wants to drive all over the country every weekend, so for me this was a relief being at a local show. It’s a fun and eye opening season for many, and as some cars didn’t make it to this show because they’re already being tucked up for winter. What I can say is, what a show Low Collective turned out to be!
If you haven’t noticed by now, the 3,500 square mile island of Puerto Rico is home to some serious Volkswagens and enthusiasts. From exquisitely built water-cooled late models to pristine early model air-cooled cars. But the one thing about the community in PR, that we aspire to have here stateside, is the brotherhood like bond that exist throughout the island. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have an air-cooled car or water-cooled, you’re considered part of a family. That family like bond does emanate from those who make the jump to the mainland, but it’s nothing compared to the atmosphere of being on the island. And for the course of the next week or two we will be featuring cars and enthusiasts from the island. Without further a due let us introduce our first article on one of the more outgoing faces in the community, Mr. Eric Agosto.
