What started just as an idea in a couple of months grew to be one of the biggest European car events in Florida. The first annual South Florida Euro Tripper was held in Estero, FL at the Germain Ice Arena.
Our day started before sunrise. We were all getting ready and meeting to cruise together to the event.
Who invited this Kia?
After a couple of pit stops and a broken axle we made it in just over 3 hours.
Put together by Paul Barney and his team in South Florida, we had a chance to be a part of Euro Tripper and help support the European scene in Florida. The event was not simply put together for European cars, it was held to benefit the Brookes Legacy Animal Rescue of Naples and portions of the entry fees went to this charity.
Over 250 cars showed up! All ranging from aircooled Volkswagens to stanced out BMW’s and Volkswagens. By the end of the day we even saw some JDM.
Our own member, Jerome, took a trophy back home winning “Promoter’s Favorite”.
We couldn’t have done it without all the help we got from our friends.
We met lots of new people and saw old friends. Nevertheless, none of this could not have been done without Paul’s hard work. We would like to thank you and all the staff involved for putting together a well organized event this past weekend. We were glad to be a part of it and can’t wait for the next one.
